AGM and Family Camping Weekend 2025
The AGM and Family Camping Weekend will take place at Victoria Farm, Nr Lutterworth, LE17 5AU over the Bank Holiday weekend Friday 2nd May to Monday 5th May 2025.
Any early arrivals are welcome to join us on the Thursday night. Gates don’t officially open till 12 noon on Friday 2nd, but if you arrive early, we’re not going to turn you away.
To simplify things this year the prices are;
All members £10 per vehicle per night.
Non-members £20 per vehicle per night.
Members can sign in one guest vehicle. A second guest vehicle can be signed in by prior arrangement, please email me [email protected] to book.
Prices are per unit, which comprises two adults, two kids, dog, van, awning/caravan.
Additional adults are £5 a night, kids under 18 free.
Please contact Eddy direct if you wish to book electric hook-up, but please keep in mind the hook-ups have limited access so come with one pitch each. They are on a first come first served basis when booking and £5 a night when available.
Memberships will be available on the gate, £25 for 12 months, non-members in splits are welcome without being signed in by a member but will pay the guest rate unless they join.
As part of reducing the workload on Eddy and Jackie, the Farmhouse Kitchen will be closed. We have arranged for an outside caterer who will be open for food throughout the weekend, as usual Eddy’s Bar will be open.
On Sunday we have the convoy to the Stanford Hall VW show, their admission fee is £15 per adult and children aged 15 and above, under 15s are free. If you are in the convoy you will need to buy your pass at Victoria Farm, you will be refused entry to Stanford Hall without the screen hanger, also, to be in the convoy you must start with the rest of us at Vicky Farm, you cannot join the convoy anywhere else. Last year the convoy’s release saw some very near misses as vans jostled for position. This year there will be lanes marked out and lanes will be released one at a time. Your co-operation is required, we don’t want any dented paintwork. The convoy is strictly splits only, so if you’re not in your split we will need marshals for Vicky Farm, a couple on the route and again at Stanford Hall. Fluorescent jackets will be supplied, please contact me or Jerry if you would like to be involved.
If the internet is on our side, we will be able to take card payments at the gate, though please bring cash for the Stanford Hall tickets.
Friday, arrive, set up, relax. Saturday, voting for trophies including the new ‘All my own work’ award, bouncy castle for the kids, AGM and prize giving, live band. Sunday, convoy to Stanford Hall, quiz night and charity auction. Monday, time to go home.
You are welcome to sell any spares you may have in a small area by your van, any donations to the charity auction will also be gratefully received.
Last year we were severely let down by the toilets. This year we will have better toilets and more of them, we have paid extra to have them serviced daily as well. A word of warning, last year we got through 200 toilet rolls, please make sure you bring your own, you don’t need me to explain why..
My favourite VW weekend of the year, nothing else comes close, see you there..
